Why do I need diabetic shoes?

To better serve you, we require an appointment for these services.

It is estimated that there are more than 14 million people with diabetes in the United States. Diabetes affects the vascular system (blood flow) that can potentially lead to foot problems. Prevention is the key. If you have been diagnosed with diabetes, be sure to have regular checkups with your physician.

Special shoes are sometimes prescribed for people with diabetes who have foot problems. Boger's carries an extensive selection of diabetic shoes, including athletic, casual and dress styles. We employ three board-certified pedorthists who have the knowledge and experience to help you address your orthopedic needs.
